Dirty Duck's Trans MA Trail Tag-a-Rama

Okay...another tag-a-rama thread

This one is a little different...there is a mascot...meet Dirty Duck

Me and Dirty Duck did the Trans MA trail yesterday. For info on that trail go here and we thought it would be fun to try and get some more people out to enjoy such a great ride. And why not make it a tag-a-ramma game as well?

So here's how this works. Dirty Duck it out on the trail, just waiting for someone to come get him and move him along. Rules are simple
  • ride your motorcycle to find Dirty Duck
  • Pick him up and take him for a ride on your motorcycle
  • Keep him on the trail
  • Make sure he is safe when you leave him
  • take photo's of his adventure
  • Post up hints for the next person to come along and find him
  • Try to put him in a spot that people can find, not just under a rock in this field, use some type of landmark
  • have fun!
Thats it!

The next post will have info on his current location.

It would be wrong to start this game without a big thank you to Keith (Hulked Up) for putting this route together and sharing it with us. Thank You Keith!

Just remember, though, you'll get busted if you're riding off-road in Mass. without the new ORV Stickers.

Four of us found Dirty Duck yesterday. He was not in good shape. Don't ya know ducks need water?

I hung DD on my KTM, but he started squawking "OH NO MR BILL". So we took pitty on him and let him hang onto CJ's Kawasaki.

We moved Dirty Duck down the road and dunked him in the river and then hung him out to dry. He is in the pine tree right between two hardwoods. Can't miss him.

Sorry I forgot my camera so no picks from me. Did anyone in the group get a picture?

Holy bill of rights, Batman! Those be a lot of rules!

Pictures oh yeah, I can steal them from CJ.

Opps! Wrong picture. Breakfast at HooYahs.

Here is the gang and Dirty Duck in hand.

Dirty Duck on my ktm. He started quacking something about "OH NO! NOT ON MR BILLS BIKE...HELP ME MR HAND". Well the stoopid Dirty Duck bit me and I threw him to CJ who took all these pictures and let the Dirty Biting One ride his Kawasaki.

This is the Hanging Pine Tree. Current home of the Dirty Duck. This tree is nestled between two hardwood trees and will be very easy to find. I mean how many pines are between two hardwoods.

I'm not usually this nice. Here is a picture of the pine tree. This place is on a sharp corner so go slow. Driveway on the right and near the water. Everyone knows Ducks need to be in water and that's where he is. Near the water.

I'm sure you'll have fun on these roads. TMT is a BLAST!

Great idea!

To use a duck mascot for a dirt game!

Would love to get up to Maine to try your Trans game. Bet it's not as hot as Joisey!

Mr Bill
Thrilled to be here. I have been an intermittent lurker but finally made the leap since I got serious about offroading. Was awesome to be part of the Duck Hunt! Thanks for letting me tote him! Oh, and that wasn't me peeing in the woods, I was looking for... uh... my, uh, ...contact! Yeah, my contact! That's the ticket!

Glad I brought the camera! If you take me along on the Puppy Dog Ride someday, I'll bring it then too!! Let's get going! After the end of August, I should have some time opening up to ride during the week if you can get away for a day or two...
