GP is where I will be going if I do. They are a good dealership so it was probably just a saleman that doesn't know much. Still thinking if I want that kind of financial commitment. My GS was a lot less and is set up pretty well. It only has 46K on it so there is a lot of life left but the Guzzi has the unlimited warrenty and is a very cool bike.

As to your original question regarding the on-road comfort of the KTM, I took my '07 990A on a 5000 mile road trip last summer. I bought an Airhawk seat pad and was as comfortable as I"ve ever been on a bike doing more than a couple 550 mile days. Just before leaving I put on a set of Conti Trail Attacks and commenced to tear up the roads.
No argument from me that the Stelvio is a good looking bike though.
