Very nice.

Fuel pumps and rear wheel bearings. The achiles heel of a Honda.

Just unlucky mate

the trouble with Firenze is that it is often the warmest and most humid city in Italy during the summer as well as the coldest during the winter. It can be horrible. It is best to go up on the hill to Fiesole (overlooking Florence) to cool off.

As you discovered, Italian prices are off the scale! This is one of the reasons that Italians are so pissed off!

Very good report BTW. I look forward to your next one.

Take it all in, the good and the bad things, every trip is like this... I sure hope next time everything works out without any complications.

Thank you for the photos and the story, Italy is one mean drool generator as always...
The bag up to the top case has inside only 2 sleeping bags and 2 spare set of gloves ....!there wasn't any extra weight on it!!

There was bad luck and the big altitude road bring the ball bearing to their limit!

Thanks for the great ride report and pics. Not likely to make it to Italy soon myself, so nice to see it from your point of view. Keep 'em coming.

Thank you marloweluke for your good words and for reading my story...

Italy is a very good country worth to visit some time even without a bike.
