Sorry, don't know their number but stayed there several years ago and no real complaints. Good, clean and tidy, good meals. Nothing exceptional but standard pub fair. No lock up areas for bikes, just open car park out back but a safe enough town. Bakery a few doors down in main street does a great breakfast.

From memory the only frustration was it was during football finals before all games were free to air and no pub or club in town had Foxtel so couldn't see the Saturday night games. Not life or death I know but the memory stuck, you would think one of them would try for the commercial advantage to lure a few extra customers in. Was in Gunnedah once, almost the same thing except the pub that had Foxtel was packed the Saturday afternoon and evening we were there, the rest without almost empty.

Bounces a bit on Dole or Pension day from memory,
well what I can remember from when I lived @ Nimbin
Court days were fairly busy too!,
that was thirty years ago,
things probably haven't changed much I'd reckon
Cheers

Couldn't afford a 'GSA', so now it's an 'XSA' "I didn't do it! & whoever said I did, is a liar!"

I don't know about accommodation wise, but the bottom pub (with the mural opposite) is much better IMO, has huge meals and friendly staff.

Thanks room booked - only one left for the weekend I wanted. Will post review with the RR. Looking forward to the TT.

Yes, sorry, we did all squeeze our bikes in under there (there were quite a few brain cells destroyed that weekend). I have always been cautious with those kinds of offers, the Railway at Gunnedah said we could lock our bikes up in the bottle shop warehouse if we wanted, he would be up and about around 7.30. Turned up closer to 9.00

Much better than the bloody onsie party too, that's a place heavily marked as never again.

Just been reading about the TT on the 'other site'

Maybe a thread on here about it (if not already done) would arouse more interest?
