Got this one today. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...234182&page=77

I've been to that cross, looks like it's had some work done to it, When I was there it was pretty bad shape.
I'll send a PM about Sunday

Yep, it has had some work done but not without a bit of controversy: http://www.wpsdlocal6.com/news/il-st.../94874944.html

The Tag-o-Rama has stalled out. Come on ya'll. If no one gets it by next week I'll have to do it myself. I have to test out my fresh cut hands (Carpel tunnel)

I either made it too easy or too hard. I can't decide. The same thing has happened on the Central USA tag. Dang. I must have bad breath or sumpin'. Go git it and git the ball rollin' again.

Is it in Marble Hill? I know I've drove by it, Marble Hill has a Museum that was a college. I was going to see, but ain't had time. (To busy going on "dead chicken" rides.)

Horse statue Tag

Yes, it's in Marble Hill but once you get to MH you may have trouble finding it. It's just not some place that you normally drive around. Up by the water tank.

I got stopped by the police in Marble Hill a couple years ago. For some reason the 35 mph speed limit extends a lot farther out the west side of town than I thought it should have.

They have a "double the fine" section of road out west of Marble Hill. Out toward Glen Allen. Did you check out the artesian well just west of the high school? And the Cat Ranch. And the Museum. And Jay's BBQ with a pork steak that will fill up a plate. And the railroad tunnel? Quite a lot for such a small town.

I'll certainly slow down and spend some time next trip.

Here's a tag. I rode all the way to the edge of the radius to get a tag, got there and realized my memory card was sitting at the house so this one is unfortunately REALLY close to home. It was once home to a fraternity.

close to home

Gleeser, close to home does not need an apology! We have this game to be involved in a very cool hobby/passion so let's all get involved. A landmark on the way home from work that gets tagged by the next day shows that people are having fun.maybe a smaller search diameter could mean more fun? Any other thoughts on this?

Well when I started it I thought 150 miles was ok, figured that was within a days ride for anyone around STL. But I think now maybe it could be less. I think it needs to be big enough to get to some great riding away form the big city. And also big enough to get a large number of people. So yeah what do the people that post and follow this thread think???
