Tkc front with kenda big block rear , anyone tried it ?

I just swapped out my shinko 705 to a tkc 80 front and a new big block rear , I made sure the big block was a 2013 , while at the shop I compared a 2011 date with the 13 and there's a big difference in block size , I hope it's the revision and may last longer , anyway anybody run this combo ? I realize the tkc will go around 6k on the front but if the big block goes 3 to 4000 miles it's not bad for 100 bucks ? I just hope I didn't screw up by changing from shinkos , they have been great tires and I've run Death Valley and baja a few times on them with no problems , watch me crash now I have knobbies on the dirt !! Ha ha

That'll work!

I like the TKC up front and the new version of the K60 on the rear. Not as good hookup on gravel as the older version but, better on the black top.

Compromises abound!

Think positive! Think bad things and bad things will happen!

that's the best set up I have found
I have gotten as much as 11,000 from the front tkc if you turn the tire around on the rim after about 5000 when the blocks start to wedge shape

the older big blocks on the rear were slick down the center by 3000 miles but I left it on until 6500 since the tire carcas is about 2 inches thick in that area
