I'm going to run one of my routes tomorrow. It is usually 100mi, but I think I'm going to cut it down to about 50-60. Double and single track with some class 4 roads and nasty ledge sections.
Anyone want to join? Starting in Cabot.
------update------

The ride was great today, just a little cold. I'll be riding again tomorrow if anyone wants in.

Looks like a nice ride! Too bad I didn't see this sooner because I would have joined you.

Some of that looks like the rail bed through Groton. Wet snow flurries means cool temperatures. Seasons wrapping up. Soon only the sleds will rule.

I agree, the video style and editing remind me of the work of Robert Edison Fulton Jr.

I guess this is as good of a place to post as any:

Friday after Turkey Day is supposed to be NICE, 50ish F weather. I'll be going out for some riding, DS or harder, depending on who and on what bike wants to join in.

I don't have a set route in mind, but I'll be starting in Fitzwilliam, NH and heading somewhere. If the trip is big bike friendly, then I'll take my 650GS, if small bikes and more mess, I'll take KLR250. Either way, I'm out for some riding before the snow hits. PM me or Post here to make it happen.

I'm leaning toward the big bike, some passable Class VI, some seasonally maintained town roads, some pavement, and some maintained dirt roads...whatever. I just want to ride.

I may head to VT (via some small backroads and dirt, hit the pavement to Newfane and then work my way west on unpaved, OR head east/north through Rindge, New Ipswich, Francestown - that would be the smooth unpaved ride.

Alright, the time has been set. Meeting on Friday at 9:30am at the intersection of 119 and 12 in Fitzwilliam, NH, Mr. Mikes gas station.

Two of us are taking big bikes and there is no set route yet - we'll decide when we get there based on attitude and conditions. It will be either smooth rolling unpaved roads (most of the time) or less smooth messy dirt roads for some of it. Weather and ice over trails will have a lot to do with the decision.

Lets ride!

See you there! No promises made as to the quality of the ride...The only guarantee is that we will be on two wheels.

Depending upon where you are, that could have been a very wise choice. We had black ice and three cars that 'fell off the road' at about 06:10 this morning when the fog 'touched down'. This of course resulted in the salt trucks coming out...... kind of a lose/lose situation. Heard about one similar crash a few miles north but nothing on the scanner for east or west, black ice is just too hard to predict for me to consider riding early in the day now, I am old and don't bounce like I used to.
