I wasn't going to say anything Jeffery. You have lost a lot of weight though. It's all that serious single track riding while carrying fuel for the 2012 apocalypse! .

Wow. Thread from the Dead.....
Mr. Magoolin (Scout) gathered the tracks we used from online posted tracks from other ADVRiders.
He then spent some decent time organizing them into a ridable route.

A couple riders of our group had the OOHVA maps, but we did not use them.
....At what seemed like a page to turn every 5 minutes of riding,
the maps were apparently designed for slower moving 4-wheeled vehicles with a passenger navigator.
And....we have heard that they are old, with several no-go roads still on them.
I have heard that many have had good luck with the TrekNow GPS tracks....

Dang, that was an awesome ride.
I wanna go and do it again,
....but solo,
without GPS tracks,
but, WITH a fishing pole,.....
and with LOTS of time to be able to enjoy Oregon.

Ride Oregon First

AppleJam, I brought the Flyrod on our obcdr last summer. But, as it is said, not everyone who starts the obcdr will finish. I was a casualty on day 3 :( I still need to finish this ride - I just kick myself for crashing. Such a stupid crash... Bummer. But, the leg is healing, bought some new sidi crossfires, and will want to do the ride again this fall (15 months post crash-surgery). Going to start in Seneca and finish what I didn't complete.

Just got back from doing the center section about 385mi, of route 5 on the OBCDR. It was awesome, I would highly recommend this to everyone, be sure to allow yourself enough time, we averaged about 100 to 110 miles a day. we went north to south, most people go the other way, don’t know which is better, although going north to south through Crane Crossing on the Malheur river is definitely the way to go..going to have to do the rest of the route soon,,,
