Wow george, last time it was a Bantam and a Renault.. now it's the ST and tha Mazda.

Do you buy these vehicles at auctions and then flog them out of hand to make a couple of g's.. more importanlty is it working?? That ST is a sweet ride..wouldnt mind a spin in that..

What does the Bike courier man charge for a delivery like that??

GS, I have orders from people, and I have contacts in the trade. Its not an everyday thing, and I carry quite a bit of risk in doing it.

The ST is absolutely smoking hot. Makes me think that a KTM is bland. I know thats not really the case, but the engine noise and the way that it searches for grip when accelerating is just pure sex.

Its heavy on gas cos it encourages one to stick the foot down. And best of all is when that turbo kicks in.... its hard on material.

Funny nuff the Ford is about 35-40% more expensive than the Mazda, though its the top of the line Mazda 3 model. Mazda has much better features and creature comforts and yet its that engine that does it.

Also, I get thumbs up wherever I go, and waves from women. Particularly from ones that have no front teeth.

Greg is charging me R850 to deliver the SE from door to door.

Sorry to be the hijacking Yank, but speaking of hot rides, has anyone been following the new Ducati Terra Mostro? Shall I post a pic and specs?

There's a thread over in that "other" forum....

Post away flan, this thread is all about hijacking it seems..

R850, thats a good price, i expected it to be more 'spensive
Did a quick (albeit crap) calculation, and to make it worth while for a person like me, i would charge R1500. Thats with a borrowed trailer that can take 1 bike only. If you have a trailer that can carry 3 - 4 bikes it becomes more economical..

It's something worth looking into locally..bike transport..

That ST sounds like fun..like ya said.. lotsa gas and tires..oh and speeding fines of course.

there is an article in one of the local bike mags about it ,damn that thing is smoking hot ....awesome picture of the duc test rider going thru a bend , knee down, rear wheel stepped out , right hand controlling throttle , left hand off handlebar giving a thumbs up .... wish i could ride like that..

Lito- for 850 u get the bike to you ,couple of things to consider , it will get to you damaged ...rather spend 3k i get it to you in pristine condition ....also check yr insurance policy , i know some policies DONT insure bikes if on a trailer , read carefully ...

Anyhooo, I am OK, job is good, got a lady who has NEVER said she "Loves" me... and that is perfect, so I guess with summer here.... yep, all is cool.
