By the time I got home I was too cold, wet and tired to clean the bike. So I still got the chunk of turf jammed between the fairing and crash bars. I'll just follow the tracks back and fix it, before the next foursome plays through.

Ah yes, the reason DSP is the only after market shop I deal with in Canada. Ordered a pair of Pilot Road 3's Tuesday. Was told they were in the warehouse and wouldn't be in shop till Friday.....well, they got to Kenora today. This on a pair of tyres, the size of which nobody in Winnipeg seemed able to come up with? Thanks for the quick service, once again Jody.

Thank you Les and Catherine. The open house was very informative for rookies like me and my partner Elsa. I also enjoyed the ride on Sunday (riding the Tenere). The ride was really well organized. Some areas were challenging, but a great learning experience overall. Patrick, the leader of my group came out of his motorcycle several times to give us some tips on going through those difficult spots. Thank you for that Patrick, I owe you a beer. I also want to thank the gentleman who rode behind with me. He has a small bike. I apologize, I'm terrible with names, and don't remember your name. It was great to have your company, and with the GPS we knew we would get there. My apologies also for leaving after our talk over lunch about continuing the ride. How hard was the ride after lunch (because there were some scary parts in the morning)? If I do more of this riding I need to invest in some K60s! Looking forward to warm dry weather and running into you guys on the road.

2:31 pm Today
Ring, ring, ring.... "Hello, Dual Sport Plus" Me: "Hey, it's Robbie O, may I please speak with Les" DSP: "Hey, robbie, it's Les" Me: "Hey, Les, I need some brake pads for my bike. It's a 2007 BMW X......" Les: " You have the X-Country, right?" Me: "yup" Les: "OK, Robbie, I'l ship them out today" Me: "Wait! What? You know what pads my bike takes?" (Sidenote: there aren't alot of X-Cunts in Canada) Les: "Yup. I have them in stock..." Me: "WOW! That's great.....oh, I also need some brake fluid" Les: "That takes DOT 4. I'll put that in the box and ship it out today" Me: " Wow, thanks Les! Les: " No Problems, Robbie. Talk to you later..." Me: "Bye" Now THAT"S service!!!!!

I had the same kind of service today, at my local family run plumbing/electrical store.
4:30, sink drain falls out of my kitchen sink. Rotted through. I run in, the guy gives me two complete assemblies and tells me to come in later in the week and we'll sort out the bill! Thanks go to Wrights Plumbing in North Gower! ![]() Nice to know some businesses know how to treat their customers. DSP has always been friendly and efficient for me too.

Coloured zip ties and electrical tape would be my guess. I can't wait to get some for my KLR...
