No interest in a ride this weekend?

If not dirt, then how about some curves?

Im always up for meeting new peeps.

It looks as though I will need to work Sat am but could meet in Lenoir @ 11am or so.... We could ride Wilson Creek area and end up back in Blowing Rock. Or anywhere else you guys would like to ride.

I am free all day Sunday....

Saturday @ 11 in Lenoir sounds good to me. Where do you want to meet up?

I've ridden a gravel road that goes down the mtn from Linville, works its way to the Globe, and then goes back up the mtn into Blowing Rock. Is that the Wilson Creek area? If so, I'd guess you probably enter it from another direction when you come from the Lenoir side. I'm looking forward to learning some more of the "ins & outs" around there. It seemed a bit confusing the first time I rode there, but I'm sure once I get my bearings it will feel like a big neighborhood.

I'm not sure if Sunday will be free for me yet or not... Probably should do a bit of yard work sometime over the weekend.

Lenoir at 11 am on sat sounds good! Where? Looking forward to it! !I originally thought I was going to asheville this weekend, (which is why I didn't post up earlier) but I don't think that its going to happen. Let's go find some dirt!

OK, Lenoir McDonalds at 11am? Easy to find.

We can fuel up and grab a quick bite in Lenoir. Just a few miles to Maple Grove, Wilson Creek and Globe from there.

Is anyone available on Tuesday the 13th for a ride near the Elkin area, or Brown Mt. too. If not, if I could get some suggestions on what roads to take in either of the areas would be helpful. Thanks.

I'm sorta new too, so can't help much with the roads. But you should say where you're riding from since that would help folks know which routes would work best for you.

Hello Boike. Welcome to the Asylum.... A few inmates and I live in Hamptonville.

Most of us work during the week but we have been meeting every other Thursday in Wilkesboro to eat a bite and explore roads... You are more than welcome to join us. The next meeting is Thursday 15th at 6:30.
