The next sunday I can do is the 25th if anyone can plan that far ahead. Can you give me the names of some of the roads you do ride so i can map them out and perhaps check them out this week while i am up that way?

Absoloutely fabulous ride today! Thanks to everyone! 103...? At least that is what my speedo read not too bad for non-DOT nobbys and a thumper! Still flossing the grit outta my teeth from chasing Sidewinder. Cheers!Let's do it again soon!

Great to meet everyone. A perfect day to ride and met some new friends.

First time I ever had a Black Bear run across the road in front of me.

Hope to ride with everyone again soon.

I had a good time too. Keeping up with you guys was a workout for me. I'm looking forward to next time.

Wish I'd seen the bear... We sure saw plenty of bear hunters!

Great day! Great riding partners! Lost - If I hadn't ridden 270+miles today (on a motox seat), then I would totally be up for another round. But, as it stands, even my most comfy sofa seems hard on my rump.

I hope you have a great day tomorrow!

SidewinderX, How did the 690 run with the new map? You ready to flash mine? Cable is enroute.

On another note...going to be riding mutiple days in early Oct out of the cabin up off Old Samson Rd. Dates to follow. Would welcome any of the locals that want to ride with us.

Our gang will be composed of 690, 625, DRZ400 and probably a KLR.

The 690 runs like a completely different bike. Still needs some tweaking but overall a joy to ride now.

Inigo, you need to lube that chain as well as your swingarm. If you have the chain break at 100mph, you could end up as stoopid as me..... We wouldn't want that... :)

Thanks Sidewinder - Already done...well, the lubing part anyway. I think I am just going to order a new chain anyway - that one has been through a lot.

Anyone around have a chain break tool?

I've got a Motion Pro chain break tool, but probably not worth the ride to my place in 27330.

Just grind the pin heads off and buy a chain with a master link.

Glad the 690 is getting sorted Side. Did you go down 1 on the front or stay stock?
