Have you found the bay-area offroaders - woodschick and company? PCFLY is up there too...

See you at the noobs rally. I'll be bringing my husky and not the tiger that trip.

I joined ADV recently, but been riding for about 10 years.
Got a pretty good crew of riding buddies but will look about for woodschick and PCFLY. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Tiger 800XC Northwest Florida (Pensacola)

I picked up my bike from the dealership and decided to hit the rural roads through the Blackwater State Forest in NW Florida. I had promised that I would just stay on the pavement until I had more time on the bike and get some crash protection. The dirt and gravel roads were too much temptation. I'm planning to take this bike on the Eastern part of the Trans-America Trail in May, 2013. Currently riding a KTM 450 EXC and needed something more road worthy but better off-road than my V-Strom 1000. Not the most inspiring photo. So far, I say this bike can handle about 90% of all off-road riding that I do here in this area. The only real obstacles to worry about in this area are rain/erosion wash-outs that can be challenging for heavier bikes. This bike weights about 150lbs more than the KTM 450, but it feels good on the trail. With some different tires I think it will make a great bike for everything I ride locally in NW Florida. The power delivery is smooth and comfortable. This bike definitely gives me that dirt-bike grin that's famous with KTM riders with a lot more comfort for those longer rides and more pavement.

Wow the landscape looks great with some snow, less than 2 weeks between our photos!
Stunning place to visit on almost any bike, even a Beemer

muddy, like it's supposed to be

I've been lurking for a while and finally got around to taking a few pics of the bike and some of the low dollar mods I made (to go along with some high dollar farkles that i've been blowing my money on). I got a chance to try it all out[IMG][/IMG] out in the gooey Western PA mud today. fun fun fun
