I'll be landing in FLL Friday around mid-day, pick up my fly-buy-ride scoot....

...Then do my best to remember to stay on the wrong side of the road while slabbing it to Fort Pierce to sleep off the jet lag from 3 days solid flying.

Let's see if this works.
Day one.

What?? You're bypassing the swamp and heading straight into traffic! And missing the keys - there's world class fishing in the keys! Good gawd man, are you OK?

OK now I get it, wasn't paying attention as usual.

North Carolina is awesome, can't spend enough time exploring NC,...but

Not dedicating a whole week just to Pennsylvania?

Thems fightin words.

Pennsylvania:

More covered bridges than any other state in the Union. That's right, we bad.

Amish/Mennonite country - best damn traditional farmers in the world.

Pennsylvania Grand Canyon - way prettier than that oversized wannabe canyon out in the middle of the stinkin desert - and ours has a top-notch trout stream running through it!

Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, and awesome Masonic Temple in Philly.

World class flyfishing destination.

First in rural population size, number of licensed hunters, acreage of State Game Lands, pretzel and scrapple production.

Lots of beautiful roads and views, interesting history tucked into nooks and crannies everywhere.

It's really really pretty, and the folks here are really nice. And the Shoo-Fly Pie is the best pie in the world.

Never heard of that in the 5 years I've been over. Those so called friends must be holding out on me...

It's on the list for this trip now though, so you will see a picture of me eating some of that...right here...

unless it is one of those seasonal things, hope not??
