Wanted to share a few pics of the incredible landscape up there. Have been there twice, and yet feel the need to go there again and again.

Can't say anything about the pics above. It is my dream to ride there before I quit riding. Looking forward to hear the road from Manali to Leh to be opened. I follow the www.bcmtouring.com for the update of the situation up there.

In 2009. And the road has opened again after a 2 day closure.
Monsoon is not as active now, and in september things are going to be better

Hello,

I will be in Nepal with my bike in about 2 weeks. Will you please tell me where did you take those pictures, so I can go there as well? Or maybe suggest a nice route. It can spend 2-3 weeks in Nepal.

These were taken in ladakh, india(extreme northern part in J&K). Very far in Nepal. Road to ladakh will open sometime in map or late april

the ladakh region is accessible only by air in winters. the Srinagar route opens in April, and the manali route(more scenic and treacherous opens in june)
