For those who want to make a weekend trip. I've decided to add an overnight stay at the house in Fyffe, Al. for Saturday night. (Bring sleeping pad and pillow) no need for a tent. There is plenty of space if you want to set up camp

Sunday morning we will be riding just north of Huntsville for a Flat Track Race. 10 $ gate fee.
Sunday Sept 18.

I'm tentative on this one, but really hope to make it. I have a major project being implemented this week at work, so it depends on that going well. I'll probably veer off along about Little River Canyon and head east and back to the cabin in Ellijay rather than going to Fife for the evening.

I hate to miss this but no fun for me next weekend. Tuna have ever ridden Owl Hollow road, sort of between Leesburg and Gadsden? Looks like a fun road, I have it on a around the world route to BankNF, but I haven't tried it yet.

What a PERFECT weekend! I got out to the mountain early on Saturday. The first part of the morning traffic was minimal. Around 10:30am it was like everyone planned a trip up.

A few Harley parader's came up closer to lunch and I peeled out for lunch. Stopped at Turner's corner for lunch. Had a nice chat with "Ray". 68 and still giving it hell on two wheels.

Second half of the day was fantastic!

Although I did have some GSP officer interested. He kept circling when I was parked, and shorting his time up and down the mountain.

I left around 4:30 and headed towards the house.

Sunday we caged it over to Suches. I managed to get the car on three wheels into one curve coming up 60.

Mrs. H was not amused. We stopped in and chatted with one of the new owners of the Suches Gas station. They seem like great folks and also fellow riders. Store is coming along. i was thrilled to see some picnic tables out front.

I'll be stopping in the next time I'm in the area.

PERFECT weekend indeed. I spent the weekend in Alabama on two, three and four wheels, with the grandsons and crew.
