Mike, Have you tried the XR650L tie downs on a XR400? They look like they would fit.

Oh really i will have to look into that , hey chuck those soft bag tiedowns , i was BBqin the other night while having a romeo juileita , Thank you very much and had a vision of a better way check it out , just gottem $20.00 per set of course you get a free set

Yes its the same size however its made of 14 gauge steel then powder coated , the cost of stainless and the nitrogen then polishing was to much , we were gonna do aluminum but same issue, so steel is the GOOD medium

Honda XR650L and Suzuki DR650 Soft Bag TieDowns

they go on the passenger foot peg bolt hole , with or without the peg on ,keep them a little loose and they will rotate 360 degrees , or find the ultimate angle and makem tight

we bought antique polisher today from colorado and mike was nice enough to go and pick it up and hold it for the shipper i owe ya one mike, thanks again your a great guy,
ps he has a set of spud struts coming to play with
he said he has welded before

This design would work for any bike that has a low bolt hole that you could bolt to.
