Solo, thanx a ton for that motobins link. I just gotta figure out how much shipping will ding me. But great price for a new part.
I would not do a suspension swap if i didnt do it right and I know it is NOT cheap or easy. I have a few connections that will help me out on the machining and parts supply stuff though. I have a bit of a fab shop here at the house. Thanx also for eating up much of my night with that link that I had to read all the way thru...only to find the project NOT DONE. lol I guess I am just trying to maximize my money. I have built ALOT of projects and if you dont start off with a clear end product in sight you end up buying alot of things twice and that is what im trying to avoid. I would like to just get it running and safely rideable for a minimum expense, THEN come up with my end product plan. Squish, I grew up in the south bay. Raised in Gardena, G-town holmes, mom n dad still live on Vermont ave at 190th st. and my in-laws live in Carson at Avalon and Vera st. I used to lauch my little home built ski boat I made when I was 14 out at Cabrillo all of the time.
