Basically from Osan you take hwy1 north and then get on hwy42 going east then eventually it turns into hwy3 and take it south about 15 miles. you will see an apartment complex that never got finished- huge on the left then up ahead you will see a road that goes off to the right- looks like a buss stop. take that road and it just down on the left. the whole trip was almost exactly 50 miles- seemed like more though. hit me up if you want to go somtime. last weekend was the big enduro event- i missed it but there was 150 bikes i heard it was a good time.

Kangwon-do is awesome riding

Nice, good pics from my neck of the woods on 313.

Anyway to answer some questions:

If you're looking for MX gear or most bike related stuff Toegye-ro up in Seoul will have it. Toegye-Ro is called motorcycle street since most of the motorcycle related shops are there with plenty of mechanics.

There's not lots of dirt riding but it can be found. Kangwon-Do way east I'm sure has plenty along with North of Seoul past Dong Du Cheon.

Of course I'm based in Seoul...guessing you're not. I'll be riding to Chuncheon tomorrow, taking some curvy and mountain roads in between.

Damn guys what do you wear? Its effin cold. I suppose I better reattach my dick and get out there. Im in Yongin and I've actually ridden past that dirt bike track, but I never knew it. I've actually been really skiddish on long distance rides. I've been caught in the rain way too many times. Last July I was trying to get to Gunsan and the rain came down on me in Cheonan, it was a two hour ride back home through it.

Cool to see you guys out there showing me what Im missing.

I wear heated gear when it's cold out. I have a nice neck gaiter to fill the gap betwen the jacket and helmet. And it's a good idea to carry rain gear in Korea, you never know when it's gonna rain.

Here's a video from a ride on November 26th to Chuncheon. It was a little cold that day, had to use the heated gloves and jacket liner.

Great vid, thanks. Good music too. Nice to see some Korean ADVers. I've been traveling back and forth alot while the wife manages the family property for her mom (ObSpam: http://rebekahcourt.com) in Seoul. I keep saying I'm gonna get on two wheels next visit but the closest I've come so far is a Daelim A-Four . If I end up moving I'll have to ship my VFR750. Wonder what that'll end up costing..! I've been to the KTM dealer nearby a couple of times and the folks there are super friendly.

Hello from Australia

Hello ,
I lived on Geoje Island for a few years recently. Had a 650 BMW Dakar - an awesome bike and fantastic on Geoje. If you need any info about Geoje-Do or Korean Contacts on Geoje or in Ulsan that speak English , I have a few. Or if you need BMW contacts in South Korea.
Just PM me.
