Heh guys,

on the last bike night, which i attended in Winter Park, Florida (USA) a guy suggested me to also start a thread here. And here I am!

I am now on a trip since end of August (about 10 month) with the plan to come back from the other side. What I have done so far: Distance: 29901km (18688miles) Days: 308 Border Crossings: 31 Countries: 16 USA-States: 14 Currently in: Everglade City, Florida, USA Where's next? St. Petersburg, Florida, USA
And also as a picture (which is not up to date and currently will not be updated as the Garmin GPS device stopped working)

The next plans for the USA are:
Saint Petersburg, Florida, USA
New Orleans, Louisiana, USA
Barber Motorsports Pkwy, Birmingham, Jefferson, Alabama 35210
Nashville, Tennessee, USA
Chicago, Illinois, USA
Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
San Francisco, Kalifornien, USA
Los Angeles, California, USA
Mexicali, Baja California, Mexiko

I'm more than happy about every offer for a coffe, a couch, just a great talk or any other suggestion for nice places to see and visit!

Also, if there will be s.o. out there, who is driving the same way, feel free to share the road for a while...

Greetings,
Johannes

J Stu,

Subscribed......

I was glad to meet you at our weekly bike meet and also happy to see via your blog that you got your part welded to fix the front end sag.

Take our advice and be sure to run by the Barber Motorcycle Museum on your way north out of New Orleans.
If they don't have a bike like yours there, I'll be very surprised.

At least you picked a time for riding through the US that the price of gas is down.....some!
