We will make a detour to Mangum, okla. for lunch and short visit with some friends and then on to amarillo,tx. I'm the Pole left behind. I had to take care of a few things and couldn't leave as planned on Friday morning
I'll try to catch up with OkieTrailBoss and his wife in Moab, UT. It will be over 1000 miles in one day, so in the process I may certify it as an Iron Butt ride

Here are a few pix from The Two on the road:

OkieTrailBoss himself:

BTW, this is a second 500 mile + ride for OkieTrailBoss and the first one for his wife.
Right now they should be camping somewhere around Pagosa Springs, CO.

Once I catch up with them the updates should be more regular.

Wishing you 3 a great ride and lots of fun times together. That 1000 miler will be fun but watch out for the deer/elk out this way especially after dark.

Check in should you need anything,

gale

I guess the deer, elk, and bear ate them.

Here's a little teaser. My route from Oklahoma to Moab was boring. Had to make up time, so I took the superslab. Ended up doing 960 miles on Monday
