Same 4mm thickness, but 300mm diameter on the 690 E/R instead of 260mm on the EXC.
Lukas, you're correct. I was brain dead (actually an old guy operating with a defective memory ). Should have gone out to the garage and looked before responding.

The new intake rocker arm showed up yesterday. Gotta give some more love to Surdyke Yamaha. Free shipping and it shows up two days early.

I'll take some pictures of the new vs old in a few weeks (I am moving again....) but for now here is the new part numbers for both intake and exhaust rocker assembly.

I was a little confused before in that I thought I was waiting for the exhaust when in fact I had already received the new version of that one and was waiting for the intake which was also updated and none of the parts lists show that from what I can see. So, point of the story is that both have now been updated.

Question: the 3 lengths- are they dependent on the bike you own (i.e. R vs. non-R) or can any 690 owner select any shock length depending on what they prefer?

I assume Tractive uses a stronger spring cap for heavier riders than the OEM WP?

Brad,
Were the original units thrashed or are you being "prophylactic" in your purchase?

That would be great - for now, a quick question:

Do the rockers have the P/N stamped on
them anywhere ?

Would allow others to just look at their
parts to know which ones they have...

I am being preventative but, at the same time I have an 08 and there were quite a few on SMJ that had failures on the 08 models.

Plus, when I did my valves last time there was some markings on the Rollers that looked similar to marks on failed units.

Lastly, I have more noise coming from the top end than I remember. It is almost impossible to set my RR manual cam chain tensioner by sound. I am hoping that these solve that.

Here is a picture of the new ones.

Any one of our shocks,in any of the 3 different lengths, will fit any KTM 690 Enduro,or SMC,from any year.
The idea was to make a range of shocks to suit all riders abilities/riding requirements.
We also have a 300mm fork cartridge conversion nearly ready for production.

Anybody here with the Cycra Pro Bend handguards, I have what is probably a stupid question. With the bar taper, I'm not sure whether I should get the 7/8 or 1 1/8 clamps?

1-1/8" is what you need. The measurement of the bar is referenced at the triple clamp diameter.

FI error code?

I have a error code 90 (9x long) my owners manual says: Throttle position circuit. Has anyone else had this problem? Should I purchase a new TPS or does that mean the TPS settings are off? It looks my throttle body has slightly detached itself from the engine, I've heard of that happening on other people's bikes, anyone know what causes the throttle body to come loose?

Excellent!

Do you have a likely due date for the cartridge conversion kits ... ?

Perhaps too difficult at this stage, but any idea of price ... ?
