I will be coming up Thursday with three other guys on 990's (all with Clearwater Krista lighting). One of them has a place in South shore, so we are crashing there (hopefully only there). Mark from SNA will be leading some rides on Sat. I look forward to meeting some of you guys. Picture is of my girlfriend as she will be a lot easier to spot than me.

There is a lot on the west side of the lake. I am here staying at the super 8. It is 45 a night weekday and 70 fri 80 sat. Camping is pretty expensive around here.

I am close enough to walk to the casino. I plan on doing some riding tomorrow. Maybe check out the rubicon trail.

I think I saw you ride in to town yesterday. Not many 07 990S's around here that are loaded down.

For some close local stuff find Pioneer trail. It intersects 50 on the California side about 1/2 mile before the Nevada state line. Go out Pioneer Trail until you see the school. Turn at the school High Meadow Trail go straight to the end and enjoy. Dual use trails you will run in to mountain bikers.

Also you can go east in to Nevada to route 207 Kingsbury grade. Turn right(only way you can turn) and go up to Chimney rock on your right. Go to the end. Turn right. Go to the end. You will be looking at someones driveway. Just to the left of the driveway are two posts marking an OHV trail.

Or, go up Kingsbury grade until you see the sign for Brotovich park(spelling?) turn left on North Benjamin. Follow until the pavement stops behind. This is Genoa Peak trail. The single track off of Chimney Rock intersects this trail. It will go about 22 miles and come out at Highway 50 spooner summit. Turn right and go about 1 mile until you see a dirt road on the left. This is Kings Canyou and will take you down to Carson City so you can shop. Go straight to highway 395 turn South. After highway 50 you will run in to a Costco and Walmart. Plus the Ktm dealer is the next block in case you break anything on that singletrack. Stocking the Hotel room up here is $$.

That should keep you busy for awhile.

Forestry service is on Al Tahoe blvd by the college(intersects 50 by the Denny's). They have a decent free ohv map of the lake
