Home counties on a Repsol Blade in mixed weather

hi all,

as my wife is visiting her sister this weekend - I woke up early and thought - lets take the Blade for a spin...

Weather was forecasted to be sunshine and rain - and it was...

Still I manage to rack up 160 miles in no time and took some pics on the way..

First I headed south-west and stop - Overton Hill, Hampshire

and

than I rode north, through Newbury & Didcot to get to the H-Cafe (formerly know as the Fox diner) for some breakfast!

the blade parked amongst other 2 wheelers...

whilst eating my breakie - i called a friend and "self-invited" my for a coffee&cake break at his place in 2 hours...which I did - so thanks to Faye & Glenn!

The blade was as usual - making quick progress and I thought the only thing which would have chance against this beast is a plane...son i re-created a bit of a "Top-Gun" scene.

than the final 30 miles back home and for the fourth time of the day I was heading into rain! Lovely...

a great little trip out and the Blade IS JUST AWESOME!

Hope you enjoyed the little ride up.
thanks
Lars

This is my favourite time of year for riding in England, although I was expecting a pic of a full English at the cafe...
