Fuel

Hey guys,

Great ride!!!

Question - how much extra fuel did you take (size of the fuel cans) how many times did you have to use the extra fuel? I have 07 GSA.

thanks again

I would recommend 650km range. The longest stretch is from Mirage Outfitters (km 358) to the end - Caniapiscaua (666km) and back.

We found fuel at Caniapiscaua , but I hear it's unreliable.

You may make that without any extra on your bike.....

Always carry enough carry cash, fuel can be up to $2/L. You will be able to use CC's much of the time though to conserve cash.

Not sure what you mean by insurance. Nothing special needed.

Cost? I don't really know. You can figure fuel costs + a set of tires for the bike.

Food depends on if you eat out or cook at the camp fire.

We stayed at friends a couple nights, lodges a couple nights, and camped the rest.

Not expensive, depends what you eat, if you share a room, etc.
