RV didn't take RD out. RD pivoted mid turn to try and anticipate RV going under him and keeping the inside line. There was 6 feet of dirt between RV and the bales. Those fucking morons need to be reigned in they should not be on the track in a situation like that, that is not their role they are not part of the race the riders are which they just don't seem to understand.
