Wink trick out your bike in Europe or the US?? $$?

Hey there, as a new owner of a f800gs I need to improve on some of the bike's shortcomings as we all know. I am thinking of the usual: Rear Brake Pedal extender ( can't believe they sell the bike with such a dangerous set up!)
worthy bash plate, crash bars etc..you get the picture. I live in CA but am going to Europe for a few weeks ( not with the bike) and have the possibility to ship things back for free in a trade show crate. So I am wondering if anyone knows whether accessories and parts are actually cheaper in Germany and France VS the US? It would make sort of sense if you can save on shipping on parts made in Europe but then again sales tax there is much much higher..any thoughts?
Cheers!

Just a question about the rear brake pedal. Do you mean to extend it forward or upward? When I got mine I felt like I had to really reach for the rear brake, I checked it out and noticed that there was a piece that flips down or up to add or take away height to the pedal. Once I flipped this piece down, the pedal felt like it was in the right spot. I'm not sure if this was an aftermarket add-on as I bought the bike used. maybe yours has the same thing?

How about going to big brand (TT, Wunderlich, etc) websites in the USA and the countries you'll be in. Get pricing info for the same product from each site and do your math.

I did quite a bit of research and touratech for instance is very much cheaper in Germany or France. ($300 less on the windscreen I am looking for, if the dollar stays strong against the Euro) I'll do the same with the others..

As far as the brake pedal goes, what I meant is that I have to keep looking for it and have missed it a few times..my riding buddy had the same issue on his and fixed it with a neat extension..
Cheers!
