Anybody been to Cuba lately?

Planning on going to Cuba, Holiguin area, for two weeks in the spring. Can't take bike. So a scooter or moped will have to do. Anybody done that lately? Any comments, suggestions or other ideas?

It is a wonderful place to ride, probably not too bad on a scooter too. Don't know how far a resort will let you take off with one of their little rentals but, If you want to get a little adventerous try to take the scoot over to the East end of the island and ride to Baracoa on the main paved road heading South. It would be a hell of a trip but you would be well rewarded- The best paved road in all of Cuba
