But I'm 285# and ride with Hippo Hands in the winter!!.
If I can average in the high 60's that will be almost double what I'm getting now !!

When its warm out and I can take longer rides, 70+ isn't a problem. Cold + commuting speeds drops me into the high 50's.

I am going to try to beat dduelin's record this summer. That will be hard to beat.

I am so impressed with this bikes gas mileage, and all the high miler stories.

When the weather's good this one goes out on the errands to Wally World and my gas hog Prius stays parked. Why cant BMW and KTM figure out that its all about the MPG.

Has anyone tried carrying additional tire pressure to see if that improves mileage? I'm thinking 50 - 55 lbs will lessen the contact patch yet still be safe, especially at the speeds I travel...

Most tires are not rated for that PSI..

Not when gas is $8 a gallon, as it is here in Yurp.

That really makes you budget, even for a longish day-ride, which is no fun at all.
