That is actually a common turn signal configuration. Every bike I have owned has been like this.

As for raising the screen - there are several aftermarket screens that will give you a taller screen. Sometimes the best solution though is not height but "air management" with something like a an add-on spoiler.

So far this year the NC700X is the second best selling bike in the UK behind the combined BMW R1200GS and GS Adventure. The NC outsold the Fireblade which has been Honda's best selling bike for a while. I read that today and think a couple months ago read the NC700X was all ECs second best selling bike.

Unbolt the windshield and reattach it in the upper holes.

I have a feeling I'm going to come off sounding like an idiot here once I'm proven wrong, but since I'm not in front of my bike (didn't ride today) I'm going to ask anyways. Can someone take some pics of the multiple mounting holes for the windshields? I've swapped screens on my bike 3 times, and have yet to see multiple mounting positions. Is there something covering the holes that needs to be removed? If anyone has a clear pic of this would be most appreciated.

These can be flipped end for end so you have two positions for the screen. It only makes about an inch difference, but it might help.

Here they are in the upper position.

Thanks! Do these screen mount inserts just pop out to swap their orientation?

You'll get slapped with a user's manual if you carry this on..

Fred,
Why do you have condoms on your turn signals?

That is not my bike. It is a new one that I was setting up out of the crate for the dealer. I posted pics of that process a long time ago on ADV. Not sure if it was in this thread or another.
