I really like how the bike is coming out. But this last ride, which was my first ride in over a month, and i just cant handle the stock tires anymore... there is just to much power to that back tire that the rear end feels like im riding on ice.

So im thinking TKC 80's are in my near future.

I just "ordered" Wolfman Expedition Dry Saddle bags in black from fellow inmate Cabrito.
ill take a few pictures with the bike all loaded up when it gets here.

But after watching Finn's video of his crash, im worriered that if the fender comes off at highway speeds im going to go down. is this somthing i should even be worring about?

Isn't that why you guys did the high-mount fender? ...so you wouldn't have that problem with the front wheel hugger?

yes it is. but that fender is still above the tire, what happens if it comes off? thats what im worried about. since the fender has a little bounce, maybe im just being paranoid...

I don't know man. You'll always be able to find people online that will scare the crap out of you based on what they saw on some forum or youtube or something. I've only done 65-70mph for any amount of time on a bike with a fender like that so I certainly can't gaurantee anything based on my own experience. Maybe you can just pm one of the guys with this mod for some peace of mind. I'd be interested in finding out how it does for extended amounts of time at 90mph since that's typically what happens on the rides back from the desert.

Do you still want to run two brakelines up separately? That'd be the priority for me at this point.

Well if i could get someone to ride with me i could have someone else take a look at it while going that speed

And i fixed the brakelines so there isnt any movement really, so im happy with it, atleast for the near future.

Excellent build, I like the look of the new white paintwork!

I think the new front mudguard really suits it.......!

It'll look the 'mutts nuts' with a pair of TKC80's on it aswell and then you'll be able to plough on through the tougher trails.

FP.

Wow! You got them bags fast. Didn't I just ship them on Monday?

You have a real nice bike there Case.

What are you mounting the bags to?
