Have you two arrived safely in Anchor-town, and recovered your bikes?

Whittier?
You really going to maroon the Kiwi's in Whittier?
Helluva way to treat international guests.
Ah, well, get that overwith and the rest of their Alaska leg will be pure pleasure.
Standing by for weather report.... let me guess, cloudy ,raining, and blowing 20 knots?

This trip here is for 6 months , last trip home I didnt work for Bob , he had 2 new guys workin there , I guess he got sick of me never there . I done a months casual work for contractors and got a heap of overdue work done on house . Its a stress free life here , everything is cheap , big project tomorrow is to put some lights on the Superbike so i can ride it at night and b seen . Not really interested in getting a motorbike here after buying mountain bike , there is heaps of tracks to explore . To ride a motorbike here over 40mph is crazy with the dogs , kids and potholes . Cheers Toddy

Regarding bike not spooling up; check the airbox for rodent nest, or other debris... ( yes, I know it's NEW, still, check it. )
Next, remove 4 screws retaining carburetor float bowl, ascertain cleanliness, and check for free motion of float needle.
check for kinked fuel line from petcock to carb, you may have pinched the line when changing fuel tank.
Also, slight possibility that new O/S tank had a particle or two which is now restricting fuel flow...
Thats my 3 guesses.
Let me know what I win.

Good 1 , I didn't go 4 my usual 6am ride but had a real ride 4 lunch, whats a ph card ?? Did u run bike with factory tank on it ?? I would suspect a bit of plastic in main jet. Humiditty here is so high today Im at the bar with a fan cooling me down , got a rechargeable head light for bike but can only get reflectors for rear , might hav to improvise . Keep us posted on the rev issues . Cheers Toddy

Are you guys still stunk in Stanchorage?
If your sandbagging takes up another week, why dont you join a bunch of HOMER-Roids on our annual Seward Invasion?
D-Day is scheduled 19th May, O900 hours.
( good luck getting the DR sorted, keep us posted )
