Nice pics. Were they taken in an old gravel pit or somewhere far from home?

Small update on this.

I found a place to purchase this, and they actually had them in stock.

Place is called StreetFighter by Design. Looks like the site is geared toward crotch rocket stuff, but I called the number on the website and the friendly guy hooked me up. I phone ordered on Monday, and I got the fender on Thursday!

Heres the website:
http://www.streetfightersbydesign.com/contact.html

I originally e-mailed, but ended up having to call the phone number. I will post installed pics as soon as I have my bike. (Still at the dealer)

SUPER REASONABLE price of $29.95+$5.50 shipping

I didn't think that was too bad, consider most things are a 50 dollar bill

Finally picking up my Bike tomorrow!

Small pile of parts to bolt / stick on before the first ride. Is it crazy that I've never even heard an explorer run yet?

Finally the weather is being nice around here so I thought I would continue putting her together. The Globescout cases just went on along with the highway pegs. The crash bars both top and bottom along with the Stebel I managed to install before going into hibernation last season, oh and also the alloy bellypan, aluminum rad guard, Oxford heated grips, CNC Triumph foot pegs (love these btw). Rigid D2's are next...

Not too fond of the mis-matched colour between the SW-Motech and the stock crash guards but the stock was free so I can't really complain.

This is one sexy machine imho!

How are those highway pegs? What kind are they? I'd like to get a set and mount them on my OEM crash bars.

Thanks doc, my gear is also on the darker side so I opted for a white helmet this time, I need something that stands out a bit. Of course I have a feeling the D2's might help with that as well.

They're called MFW highway pegs, I picked mine up along with the cases from Advdepot but they are available from Twistedthrottle or other places as well. I've spent more time just sitting on the bike trying them out than riding so far. Easy to open and close, the pegs themselves are very light, the mounts are the heaviest part. I had these on my Strom and found that I could feel quite a bit of vibration in them compared to say something like my SteedSticks on the ST1300. But I like the position of these better. My only concern is that they will be the first to hit the ground during a gravity inspired manoeuvre.

Just gone and done it after owning a Tiger Explorer with the head problems I bailed forseeing the bike was going to be worthless once the word got out!! (how wrong was I) went for a Crosstourer thought it was a nice bike if not a bit too refined, then went for another 1200GS this time the Rallye variant that was a bit Agricultural so went back for another new crosstourer 3 weeks ago, today I went to the Triumph dealer and traded the 3 week old CT for another Explorer this time in white brand new and had everything I could fitted
Performance pack, protection pack, panniers, top box heated grips, heated seats hand guards, etc etc cost me a fortune to trade a 3 week bike in but I cant wait, it should be delivered Thursday
