sand in exhaust
While riding today in the sand my bike ended up on its side. While righting it there was a bunch of sand on the end cap and I'm sure some went in. Should I be concerned? What should I do? Thanks.

exhaust blows. It will blow out the sand. Since exhaust don't suck, it will not suck the sand into your engine.

If it is the stock pipe.... It has numerous baffles in there as a silencer..... It could trap the sand. If stock..... remove it....and shake it out..... If it is aftermarket..... no baffles...and the sand will/should blow out....

Better than sand in your vagina, I guess.

It is the stock pipe so I'll remove it and shake it out. Thanks

Sandy pipe
Remove the exhaust to shake out a little dirt? Don't bother. Where is it going to go? Go for a ride. Carbon builds up in the exhaust of all bikes and it can only go one way...out. For it to get to the engine it would have to travel against the flow, through the cat and uphill against extremely high flow to the valves...it isn't going to happen. It is probably already gone from your ride home.
