So there has to be something wrong with your mount as previously mentioned.
Is there audio with that mount?

Negits.
I prefer to not use audio guidance, it drives me crazy.
I have an old Garmin GPS-V (not Nav-V) that simply beeps when a new instruction pops up, has worked very well for me for many years, still use it on my WR.

Annoying startup screen

So how do you get the Nav V to stop asking you to Accept the End User License Agreements every time it starts up?

Not sure with the Nav V but, on my previous Garmin Device, it stopped itself after several annoying restarts. But can't remember how many were them.

I would also double check the 12 V connection from the bike and verify power being supplied.
Ok, I think I finally found what was wrong.

As I understand, the Zumo's cradle needs 12v input and transforms it to 5v.

And i was connecting the cradle's wiring to another wiring from my previous satnav wich is on my bike, connected to the battery. But I didn't notice it has a built in 12v to 5v converter.

So i was feedind the Zumo cradle with 5v instead of 12v.

Heh -
I have an old Quest ( actually 2 or 3 of them, but that's another story ) that I use on my WR as well. (X variant) Same basic size and layout as the GPS V. Perfect sized GPS for a small dual sport.

I need to take the lil' WR out soon. It hasn't seen any action since I got the GS at the end of August.

Good to hear you found the problem.

Confirmed

The Zumo motorbike cradle is compatible with the BMW Navigator V and powers the device when connected to the battery (if you do connect it correctly )

I'm going to get the Zumo car mount kit shown. I'm hearing the mount has a USB port on it to connect to power. Is that true or do you need a cig lighter power cord?

The mount does have a mini-USB port on the back BUT for some reason it will not power the Nav-V via the port.

A&S Cycles has 15% off everything for Thanksgiving. I just bought a Nav V for $680 and free shipping.

Yep, i've found something strange about powering the Navigator V out of the cradle, e.g., when I'm just playing with it, uploading routes, ...

In fact, af first, i though it was something wrong with the battery as I wasn't able to charge the Nav V neither when connecting it to my computer (if the computer was switched on) nor with a wall charger wich worked ok with my previous sat nav.

But i noticed i can charge the Nav V via my computer only if the computer is
switched off, using one of those usb ports with permanente power delivery.

Strange.

You must have young eyes, I could not read a screen that small with that text interface. One of the reasons I purchased a Zummo 660 was it was the biggest screen available at the time.
