Yes.

Yeah but some American probably came up with the name "Garmin" at least.

There are no more slow boats when it comes to the USPS. All overseas mail is sent by air. Has been that way since around '07.

Got my Nav V mounted and installed today. Picked one up with the cradle on Black Friday from Long Beach BMW and got it for 25% off as they had a deal going if you made a purchase before noon. Had no idea they were having a sale...right place at the right time...Went to install the cradle today on my GSA and realized another mounting bracket is required to attach the cradle to the bike....So back to the dealer I went. 75 bucks later I have the mount. Then, I went to try to listen to music streaming Bluetooth from my phone thru the Nav to my helmet and was disappointed to find out this option is unavailable and you need to purchase a micro SD card, download music onto it and install it into the Nav and listen to the music that way. So off to the store I ran again to pick up an SD card as a $900.00 GPS doesn't come with one... As luck was on my side again its Cyber Monday and Best Buy had 32g SD Cards for 18 bucks...score! In the process of downloading music now. One thing I will say, I've come to figure out I'm going to lose some small but enjoyable functions available having just my phone and helmet paired together (not being able to talk an text or talk and email). Granted I will now have GPS. I currently have a samsung galaxy S4 paired to a Schuberth SRC. I'll report back on how I make out listening to music after I get it all downloaded on the SD cars.

My post was obviously not intended to be taken literally.

How the hell should we know?

If the seller shipped it via Priority Mail then you should have received it by now but if they used First Class International service then you may have another weeks wait.

Sometimes USPS International item tracking information is not updated after the package has been turned over to the international handler, it would be safe to bet that your package is not still sitting in New York.

Stop your whining and have the company you bought it from get hold of the Post Office and trace the item if you're concerned about it, but coming on this forum and crying about how horrible America is isn't going to get your package to you any sooner.

Thanks you have answered the question though , my expectations were incorrect. You are saying it may take longer , and it may have left the sort facility . Don't think I said America was horrible . Wasn't the last couple of times I visited.

Anyone out there more product savvy than I able to verify the Garmin 660LM automobile mount & car adapter (total $78) fit the Nav V?

There's someone in this thread using a Zumo 660 car cradle and it fits and receives power. And I'm using the navigator V on a Zumo 660 motorbike mount and it also works

I use it in my trucks and it works just fine, the only thing is that there are two power ports on the cradle, one is a USB which will not send power to the Nav-V the other is a proprietary socket requiring Garmin's Car adapter which works fine.

There are several reference to this not far back.

Don't use the 660 cradle on your bike though, that would just be wrong.

Where is the MP3 Folder?

I was going to test out the media player and try to confirm that no output from it comes out via the smaller connector on the BMW GPS Prep mount, so I set off to copy a few MP3 files into the GPS.

The Nav V says to copy file into the "MP3 folder", however I have looked through the directory structure and the owner's manual and have failed to find a folder with MP3 or Media in the name or any explicit instructions on where the files go. What the hell am I doing wrong?

You may need to make a folder.

Yeah, I made one on my PC, put some mp3s in it and am copying it to the GPS. Oddly, windoes file explorer did not give me the option to create a folder when browsing the Nav V, and yet the folders there did not appear to be read only. We'll see how it works.
