Awesome alps...or god had a good day when he made this

1 public holiday in germany...that means 3 1/2 days off. Hmmm...lets go and discover the austrian and italian alps in southtirol






We left on friday afternoon after work.....had a ride from traffic jam to traffic jam and came to Reutte...the bordervillage to austria where we could find a room for tonight.





Freitag we had a little sightseeing in Hohenschwangau where the suizided Bavarian King lived

Wish i lived that close to that area!

I was around there early september, amazing place to ride. It's so hard to not stop every 500m for a photo!

Nice RR! I rode some of those passes this summer too. Stelvio is my new favorite Alpine pass, and Gavia is not far behind.

Our evening view from our motel in Rumo....found it somewhere in the mountains when i turn wrong. Sometimes its good to come up from your route
