From Collinsville to out of Ravenswood to the nearest servo on the Bruce hwy should be around maybe 250 ~300km i would think.
So you might be right!
That's the problem Dazza, I'll get about 200ks without strap-ons.

Hey Will_S, it's open. Spoke with Sun Water last week all good road apparently is a little rough. Keen to know what it's like if you you come through there. Going that way myself in a couple of weeks.

Wicked Burdekin Falls Dam

Gents went for a nice Sunday ride from the Towers via Belyando Crossing, across the Bowen Development road and up through Mt Coolon across the dam and back via Ravenswood.

Road report -
Bowen development road, just like a dirt hwy (hard packed)
Mt Coolon to the Dam, not too bad however lots of sharp stones. Has not had a lot of traffic this year- nice ride though

Can't help with fuel though, filled up at Belyando and made it back to the Towers, about 320k.

Two years in a row! This could be the start of a dynasty.

Better grab hold of a good chippie & get that trophy cabinet enlarged.

I was going to ask whether they might swap spanners for a couple of power saws , One things for sure i don't have to look to hard for a 19mm socket.

Found a bit a video of the Richmond run, it's a good cross section of terrain to test ones skill., especially if you like trees and lots of sand. One lap is about 30 minutes, great event been going now 10 years.

Yeah, nice stuff. Some of that river bed and dry sandy creek bed looks like parts of the retreat.
