Hey Andrew, you got hand held uhf's on the farm, Henry and i were thinking about getting something organized for us on the big rides and larger group numbers. That way if someone goes down we can let the lead blokes know. Plus we can put shit on each other along the way.

hi there lads
comms system are a must when riding long distances or in a group
saftey factor is first to mind, let riding partner know .. cattle on road... 4x4 coming ... im in the ditch 5m down the side of the mt u just rode past HELP ect passing trucks on dirt roads- be honest how many times have u been behind one of these dust blown m/f*&^kers thinking i would love to slip by in saftey but its not possible the driver of the truck doesnt know your there..ch 40 let him no your intension 99.9% of truckies will backoff and let you no when its safe to come round...... crn man system becomes so easy to manage.
im leaving friday to meet up a group of 16 riders on the vicco boarder traveling back to qld via the fire trails dirt road and back tracks - not to have comms is verging on madness.
i will dig out info on the systems that most of us are running
