Congrats, AD, can't beat a DR for those real long rides. Charlie will probably have one soon!

Safest bet for a DR is to get the suspension done first, closely followed by the seat.

check out the Procycle website http://www.procycle.us/bikepages/dr650.html

they have got the lot, 780cc kits, big valve heads

54hp if you want to get serious, but you will easily un cork it with jetting and a pipe.

Talking G'day from Biloela.

G'day.

Dom here from Biloela.

Just traded my DR650 for a DL650 V-Strom. I wanted a big bike for comfort and packing everything on. Second hand from Gladstone with a fair few kms on the clock but it is what I wanted. ( i wanted an older one to get used to a bigger bike and will prob later trade her in for a BMW or new V-strom at a later date)

Had planned a CQ Biloela Rally in August but it fell flat on its face due to everyone having commitments at that time of year. I will try to get it up and going again in early 2012.

If you are every heading through or around Biloela PM me and I'll try to show you some great tracks that us "locals" only now about. Feel free to read the info about me on my profile.

Cheers,

Dom.
