CDI..? the igniter?

So when saying CDI, it is reffering to the Igniter or #21119 shown here in the diagram, yes?

I'm guessing that is the problem on mine, because the problem is not truely intermittent, since a simple turn of the key fixes it every time.

I wonder if there is a "tip-over-switch" in this part...

Yes...the Igniter and the CDI are the same thing.

Also no spark!

Hi to all, i recently rebuilt my 1990ish klr650, what started out as a simple electrical fix resulted in a complete rebuild of the engine frame basically the whole bike, finally got it back on the road and i have done 250 miles and now have no spark!
I have taken the ht lead from the coil and it is badly corroded, bit gutted i didn't check the state of it on the rebuild, i hope this is the problem!
