GUY

puts together on the new and improved f8.
I've got to head up that way sometime soon and scout a good route. After I figure it out, I'll post up the details and descriptions. And then we'll start the bidding process for entry into the guymanbro-down.

Bgs update

A bunch of us held a work party today at the Barnard General Store to clean and organise and get ready to re-open.

It will be a 6-mo provisional, option to renew, community-based co-op.

I was the guy on the KLR with a push broom, corn broom, and crowbars, hammers, vise grips and chisels (you never know) riding home in the dime-sized hail storm afterward...

...the tools wer also used at the Store...

Just an observation...you won't be new to ADV riding if you keep hanging with guymanbro.

Yea when I rode by today I saw your bike parked there but didn't know who its master was.

That was just before we got dumped on an the thunder started............I got soaked just getting back to the shop.

I put in a quick 40 mile ride between barnard pomfret and a part of the oxbow in Sharon.

I don't know who you are but I might? give me a shout and we can ride.

Taking the fam out on the boat for a day of tubing tomorrow

We have tried to coax the little bikes out. But it has been slow to take. There is plenty of riding in the area, and we can park twenty rigs at the beach. They just have to stay parked once in and ride the bikes from there on until you leave. If we have twenty rigs, there are offers from a number of members in the area to accept the overflow.

Bring them, you will have fun. Bring both and do it all. It is all up to you.

There are usually some. If you want to bring sportbikes, there is no problem with that. Just have to be an ADV inmate.

I'm intending to hit the Cro-Mag this year.. [About fucking time!]

I'll probably ride up on the F650gs but I am curious about hauling up the smaller bike (drz400s) and doing the small bike options.. I'm fairly new to the small bike riding and was wondering if that stuff was going to be serious hardcore single track or moderate trail riding that would be ok for someone with only a couple of years experience but who is willing to try whatever is put in front of him, aka me...

recommendations?
