snip

So how else would you explain a complete disdain for other road users? (MCs included!)

Even riding MCs in traffic you're told to 'ride like they're out to get you. ...because they usually are!'

Oh, 2:40 on the road and 2 idiots: first one passed me less than 100' from a stop sign. Since he was in an all-fired hurry, I made sure to wave him past when I got to the line next to him.

Second was passing into a blind corner. Right after the corner was an oncoming car.

Gummee! You're still a tool. You suck at life. I can see why you needed to push this thread to 100+ pages, cause no one would talk to you in normal life.

HOW DO I GET THIS STUPID THREAD OFF OF MY SUBSCRIPTIONS?!

I love you too honey.

Now, do you have something to add, or are you just wasting electrons?

What? What he "fixed" wasn't too much different from what you posted.

I'll assume that's the best you can bring to this thread. Such a shame...
Speaking of tools and sucking at life...Too hard to figure out how to unsubscribe? Can you read? Follow directions? Someone who can't unsubscribe to a thread really sucks at...well, everything.

One sure fire way to not see this thread...don't log onto ADVrider!

I didn't ride this weekend, so no 'idiots on the road' posts. I DID manage to go ass over teakettle haring the Hillbilly H3 yesterday. I've got a nice chunk out of my right knee and bruises that have bruises from falling down a rocky slope.

I may go out for an hour here in a bit once it cools down, so check back in a bit for a new 'idiots on the road' update.

Oh, and if you didn't hear. Looks like Dr Stephen Covey was one of us. Wonder exactly what happened?

too much front brake?

"Sagers said her father, an avid cyclist, was cycling with a friend Thursday in Rock Canyon Park when the accident occurred.

Covey went down a hill too fast and flipped forward on the bicycle, Sagers said. She said her father was wearing a helmet but it appears to have slipped backward as Covey was falling. Covey’s head hit the pavement, Sagers said."

Maybe he should have developed one more habit - tightening up his helmet strap?

Just as I was thinking 'wow. Everybody's been so polite on their way home tonite' I get the only idiot of the ride.

I was in the middle of my lane and they STILL went around me at the crest of the hill completely in the opposite lane.

Do people really not stop and think about the consequences?! Yeah, they got away with it this time, but what about next? or the time after that? There's a pretty good likihood that *something* is going to be coming one of these times.

I thought every accident was.

Watching the tour it looks like most accidents are caused by cyclists though.

Nope. That one was explicitly my fault. Slipped on a rock and tumbled down a rocky hill for 5m. I'm still stiff and sore. I don't bounce nearly as well as I used to!

...but best of all! I didn't spill any of my flour!

My co-hare was convinced the trail was over right then and there. Me? I was more worried about looking for my sunglasses. Found em within inches of my face. :phew

Go on down the road.

Is there a sub basement of Jo Momma that we can banish Gumme to? I am also an avid bicyclist, but if I want to go on line and read and post about bicyclists, I do it on a bicycling forum.

I used to enjoy reading Perfect Line because it encompassed interesting posts from many folks whose topic did not easily fit in other threads. Not so much any more.

Please take your self-serving, vapid comments and go away.
