these may be the cleanest 34 year old carbs that sat in a barn for 11 years that I ever saw...

What does the "s" mean?

"sinestra" or left (side). "Sinister" is a derivative - it was once believed that left-handed people were evil...

Good to see you having fun!

I'm sure you are aware of this resource, but I'll post it anyway:

If you ever have a question about Loops, Charlie (MZRider) is your answer man.

Good luck!!

Here's a pic of my '72 Eldo. It just puts a smile inside my helmet when I ride it.
Charlie was a great help to get me going as I was new to Guzzis. They really are pretty easy to work on, fun to ride, and it's nice to pull in somewhere around other bikes and not see a gazillion of them.

The bottom of the bowl

So remember the part that this bike sat for 11 years?
I'm not sure if the tank was full but there was some fluids left in there...but the condensation destroyed the tank...
But this is what is left in the carbs. A russet colored dry powder....

it was on the fuel inlet filter as well, gotta be from the tank and from before the bike got parked...
