Team Moto Adventure Night this Thursday 20th Virginia Brisbane

Anyone else going to the Team Moto Adventure Night at their Virginia store, Mike Oliver who was in the Triumph Team for the APC Rally will be presenting. Maybe a good event to catch up at and anything that promotes the sport can't be bad eh.
Worth a trip might see you there.

dammit, mark asked me to bring Boo and my bikes to this to show various levels of DR fiddling with the racks and bags and stuff we used for our trip. however, Boo is being induced in a few hours and if i ask to go to this it might not go down so well....
still the 20th is her birthday, i could say i was doing it for her maybe?
brand new kid only a few hours old, how much work could that be for her

talking to mark, it's going to cover a lot of stuff, but mostly from the more basic/beginners end. it's designed to be a sort of adventure riders snail trail talk i think. he was asking if Boo and I could do a bit of a talk about our trip and then hang around and talk about the snail trail idea to people.
since i won't be there i hope andy can plug it for us instead...

Mate it was a good night, very well organised, there was a free hot food buffet with free beer and soft drinks. We were all VIP guests for the night so therefore got discount, I think it was 10%.
Mike Oliver who did the APC Rally with the Triumph Team did a tyre changing demo and also did a full talk on his bike set up with lots of good hints and tips.
Head of Triumph, Cranky announced a world exclusive that Triumph was launching a 1200 and he had piccies on his I Phone.
Great turnout with a full shop of people. Then a free raffle with some great prizes. Mike is really pushing the Adventure riding and Team Moto are offereing a one on one consultation with Mike and your bike to discuss your set up if you want to arrange one.
As there is an organised Team Moto Tiger Adventure ride coming up they were pushing to fill the final few slots which was good value at $150 each which included accommodation and food.
All in all it was a great night and they are really promoting the sport well. Top marks.

I saw the photos over on FB and it looked like a good turn out. 120 they said.

I know that the Enogerra store have been running a few Adv rides in the last 6 mths or so. I must add that they have has some EXCELLENT help with the organisation and route selection too ...

I saw that ad for the Trumpy rat run and thought it was good value @ $150 per head.

1200 Trump Adv bike Hmmmm.. chasing the S10 market share?

It really sounds like TM are really putting in an effort and changing their image a bit. Good to see and good for the sport.

Do you know if there are more planned for the future?

Guaging by the success of that one I would say so, gotta be good for business. Triumph appear to be in it for the long haul and with the added success of the APC idea I think they are onto a winner. I didn't get a piccie but they were selling a long range tanked DR fully adventure ride ready for $9900 I think, obviously it won't have all the farkles of a Vince Strang special but looked pretty good.
