Update...

So here are the latest news about my injury...

This is what broke, on the right. It's not my xray, so bear with me. It was a spiral break, which means that the foot rotated beyond the limit, and the fibula snapped back and created a spiral break. The doctor installed a plate on the right side with 5 screws through the bone, and a wire retainer to hold the fibula and the tibia together, preventing another dislocation.

I went to see the doctor Wednesday morning, and he decided to take the retaining wire out, which should help stop irritation of the nerves, muscles and ligaments. It's still very swollen and it's back to about 60%, and physio is just making matters worst as it stands. So another surgery within the next few days...

Wow Taz, that patch of sand caused you a lot of grief. Hope the next surgery gets you some relief and speeds up the healing process.

Hey Outback!
How's the leg coming? I noticed on an other thread there is a recall on Mitas E07 tires, here is the link:

Hey Jeff!!

Still waiting for the call from the hospital. I'm still doing physio in the mean time!!

Yes, those are the same tires I bought. But in a different size. Plus, they say that the tire could suddenly loose pressure... Not with tubes, they won't!! ;)

Thanks for the heads up though!!

The Taz

Hey Outback

You'll be better soon I busted the collar bone this year and it is good now, just takes a bit longer than it used to.

By the way Jeff that Husaberg is a beauty.

Playing in the snow

Today was just too warm a day to pass up playing in the snow. I forgot how much fun the Ural is drifting in second gear at 50 kph in 2wheel drive...fun! My hay field is all chewed up now

Great pic Grump. I love the completely snow packed rims!
When I moved mine from the garage to the shed for storage I couldn't resist a couple of laps around the yard. Much better skill level this fall than in the spring!

Cool ride, like the third wheel in the snow. Just fixing my son's bike and some klr maintenance for my winter therapy. Only a couple months left right.....
