Pardon my ignorance, but what happened to Haga? Retirement?

Took over Hutchinsons ride, (Hutchie broke his 'bad' leg again..), with Swan Yamaha in BSB.

I'm wondering how much money the Canadian is bringing to the team. ?

I am betting it is more a matter of Ducati not wanting him taking points away from Checa. Maybe WSBK is worried he will embarrass the current field? Two Ducs running away at the front could cause more trouble with the weight penalties, etc?

Of course, if something were to happen to Checa...

Shades of the Imola 200!

The single sided swing arms on the Ducs may pay off, if the engines last for that long of a race?!

I hope they do it at Miller in Salt Lake City. Haven't been back since watching Spies do the double.

SO! At the private Kwak tests at Aragon, Tom Sykes set the fastest ever WSBK time, on race tyres (so they say...), in cold and windy conditions. 1:57.2. He also had a big crash that left him a bit beaten up.
I like this! It'd be good to see the green bikes up there.
The Beemer team has also been testing there, and sound like they're making quiet progress. Hope so.
Meanwhile,at Imola, Superglue crashed while testing and screwed his knee, which has since been fitted with screws....He says it's all good, but..... time will tell, huh?

Well that's the thing here. He is either playing all those mind games or being realistic. Max did awfully well at Phillip Island so maybe he just wants to ease of some of his pressure to Sykes. Gonna be interesting when the series lands in Europe.

Aprilia also tested engine version that they will use only in Monza.

The question for Kaw and BMW is, can they stay fast over a full race distance?

One lap won't do.

Since probably mid last year, the Kawa's have been getting better. Always at least one in top ten. I still have the English announcer echo'ing Sykes name in my head. LOL
