Lunch on the trail etc.

If you're interested, shoot me a PM. I'll be on my XR650R.

Maybe. Anything I might need to know? Haven't been out there since the Spring.

Lot's of new trail markers/signs off the aqua duct. Seems like most of the jeeps trails in the Cactus Flats area are recently marked as well.

Sheriff helicopter buzzed me on four different occasions over the aqua duct. Haven't seen that before.

Did you see sheriff star on chopper? If not it was DWP, they patrol aqua ever day since 9/11.

Lets see your tracks? Was single track at pass on Cactus Flats marked closed?

We skipped that single track, so I can't confirm whether it's been blocked. The single track that parallels the paved road leading up to Cactus Flat road is open....and fun.

I'm map and compass, so no tracks.

Jerry. As of yesterday, that single track is open. Looks like there was a grader back there recently, that smoothed out the jeep trail the crests that hill.

It is now the 21st century, do you have a cell phone yet? Which Jeep Rd? The one from the south to Cactus flats or the one over the hill between Cactus Flats and the reservoir?

Our trucks were at Rustic motel in Olancha, rode to Beatty Saturday.
