Did anyone try alternative browsers like Opera or Dolphin?

VERY frustrating problem for what is otherwise an amazing device and just the right size for traveling.
FWIW, the only way I can stand to try to post on ADV is to type my reply in Notes, then copy and paste into the ADV reply window. Shouldn't have to do this but as a stopgap until a patch arrives, it prevents me from flinging the Pad against a wall.
Just lately the browser has been crashing randomly while only viewing pages, so will I soon have to go back to the MacBook for ADV.

I wonder if Baldy is looking into this, as the issue seems restricted to ADV for myself and many others.

Ditto and AAAAAAARGH!

I tried iCab and at first it worked fine for a couple of postings then it started crashing also. Haven't tried Opera or Dolphin - I had them on my iPhone but didn't like the interface at the time and deleted them. My purpose in choosing an iPad was the ease of having the same bookmarks continuously updated through iCloud so I could avoid all the issues of trying to keep them all updated

Having been on Mac's since the early 90's it's been sad to watch them slowly evolve into a Microsoft-esque structure that is becoming controlling, unresponsive and complex for complexity's sake. Still far superior to the alternative but disappointing nonetheless.

Yes, the problem is likely to be remedied in a later iOS update, but the pattern of poor and unstable updates from Apple is consistent. The world will end soon

I hope this works cuz my pad just crashed for the 10th or so time this evening while trying to post. Was wondering if the tapatalk ever crashed similarly?
