On Kootenay Lake between Kootenay Bay and Balfour, British Columbia. Taken aboard the Osprey 2000.

Lived in Kootenay Bay for a few months during the early 70's when my 52 Pontiac cooked a valve as I was driving to Thunder Bay - beautiful spot to learn how to lap valves into a flathead block.
What was the name of the hot springs up the lake?
Thanks for the photo.

Ainsworth Hot Springs. Was soaking in them with my wife and son on a wonderfully cold and rainy night just last November.

Hot springs are best enjoyed in cold rain or snow.

You've done some interesting living over the years, Mr. Bob.

Did you get a camera?

Yes, Ainsworth. I had some wonderful times there as well. Do you live in that area?
The money for the camera turned into a last minute ride home from Florida followed by getting hammered at tax time. More time to shop for the right camera, I guess, though I think any of the previously mentioned. Nikons would be fine.
